Acorn Reuse Centre
Autism Jersey are delighted to be partner charities with the new Acorn Reuse Centre at La Collette.
The social enterprise, run by the Jersey Employment Trust, will benefit the environment by reusing and upcycling tonnes of unwanted items, while also providing training and employment opportunities.
The public will take items they no longer want to the Acorn Reuse Centre at the new Household Reuse and Recycling Centre at La Collette, which is open every day.
Suitable items will be transported to the Acorn Reuse Centre at Trinity or given to local partner charities which include Autism Jersey, Mind Jersey and Headway.
Autism Jersey’s Chief Operating Officer Paul Sullivan said: ‘Autism Jersey is delighted to be a partner charity with the Acorn Reuse Centre. It is anticipated that a number of people we support will benefit from the opportunities afforded by this exciting venture. We look forward to working together with the Acorn Reuse Centre.’
