Easter Saturday Duck Race, 30th March 2024

Every year up to 1,300 recycled yellow ducks, which have been numbered individually on their bottoms, are launched into the stream at Le Perquage at Sandybrook. The event, which is generously sponsored by Romerils, includes entertainment and activities for families to enjoy along Le Perquage, including face painting, hook-a-duck and more. Refreshments will also be available, with support from the fabulous team at Beresford Street Kitchen.

World Autism Acceptance Week 2024 - 2nd to 8th April 2024

In line with the National Autistic Society, we dedicate ourselves to this annual event to promote knowledge, awareness, understanding and primarily acceptance of autism spectrum conditions. We offer bespoke presentations to schools and businesses, increase information and knowledge across social media and through our presence in St Helier where we host a stall, offering a fun and relaxed environment full of information about autism, the services we provide to autistic individuals, their families and carers and details on how you can be #awesomeforautism, whether this be by way of fundraising, volunteering or beginning a career with us.

This year, we will be based at Charing Cross, Tuesday 2nd April until Friday 5th April, from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, with a range of staff and guests from our working partners, such as the Jersey Youth Service. On Saturday 6th April, we will be on the stall from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm only, where we will also be joined by Karen from Jersey FacePaint to keep the younger members of our community entertained.

For more information on World Autism Acceptance Week 2024, or details on how you can get involved, as an individual or as a group, please contact our Fundraising & Marketing Coordinator, Louise Venticinque, tel. 871888 or email L.Venticinque@autismjersey.org.

Island Walk - Saturday 15th June 2024

Each year, we gather a dedicated group of volunteers to support a water station for the event. Handing out much-needed refreshments, alongside heaps of support and encouragement, we really enjoy being part of one of the biggest fundraising events on the island each year.

Keep an eye out for further details in due course.
