Adults with autism do have talents and skills to bring to a business but need the combination of the right support, some adjustments and the opportunity to make it a reality. They could prove to be a tremendous asset to a business.
Statistics provided by the National Autistic Society show that only 16% of people with autism are in full-time employment, and the situation hasn’t improved in almost a decade.
Autism Jersey can give talks and training to staff to increase the understanding of autism and help with supporting employees who are on the autism spectrum.
