Chief Executive Officer


Autism Jersey is looking to recruit a Chief Executive Officer to ensure the viability, stability and growth of the charity and to maintain the highest professional standards and reputation. The successful candidate will provide the strategic direction for Autism Jersey whilst leading, monitoring and enabling service development. A key accountability will be to maintain and develop our external profile as a centre of good practice and innovation. A competitive package is available for the successful candidate who is able to demonstrate the experience and personal qualities to lead the charity, direct its work and champion the cause of people living with Autism in Jersey.

Support Staff X 4 Positions

AVAILABLE VACANCY Support Worker x 1 position
HOURS Full Time @ 37.5 hours per week
DEPARTMENT Supported Living Services
REPORTING TO Supported Living Services Team Leader
SUMMARY OF JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

We require a Support Worker to work as a member of the Autism Jersey team providing support for individuals with autism living in their own home on a 2 to 1 basis.

Sleep-Ins is required.

Male candidates would be preferred.

Ideally a Level 2 QCF in Health Care or equivalent qualification coupled with Conflict Management training (e.g. Maybo).

Knowledge of and/or further training in Autistic Spectrum Condition & challenging behaviour coupled with at least 2-3 years’ previous support experience is desirable.

AVAILABLE VACANCY Support Worker x 2 positions
HOURS Part-time @ 6 and 7.5 hours per week + potential sleep-ins
DEPARTMENT Assisted Living Services
REPORTING TO Assisted Living Team Leader
SUMMARY OF JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

This role will be ideally suited for an employee currently working on a Zero Hour Contract, or less than 30 Hours per week who is looking to commit to more hours per week.

Sleep-Ins may be required.

AVAILABLE VACANCY Support Worker x 1 position
HOURS Part-time @ 6 hours per week (Weekends Only) 3 Hours Saturdays and 3 Hours Sundays.
DEPARTMENT Assisted Living Services
REPORTING TO Assisted Living Service Manager
SUMMARY OF JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

This role will be ideally suited for an employee currently working on a Zero Hour Contract, or less than 30 Hours per week who is looking to commit to more hours per week.

Knowledge of and/or further training in Autistic Spectrum Condition & challenging behaviour coupled with at least 2-3 years’ previous support experience is desirable.

Five years’ residency is not required for the support worker roles.
