Steph’s first weekend as a volunteer

Give a gift of time.

  • Become a Befriender
Are you trustworthy, friendly, reliable, willing to learn and sensitive to the needs of others and their environment? Autism Jersey links befrienders direct to families, providing a six-week training programme and ongoing support. Read more here.
  • Work in the Boutique
Our Autism Jersey Boutique is a friendly place to volunteer. If you can give your time on a regular basis and are able to help with a range of tasks, from organising items to serving customers, our shop is the place for you. Read more here.
  • Share your skills
Are you a photographer, secretary, electrician, event organiser, spokesperson, or …? Your experience and skills may be able to help us reduce our costs.
  • Put the ‘fun’ into fundraising
We always need a band of willing helpers to help at events. Tasks include marshalling, selling raffle tickets and shaking buckets. The only requirements are a big smile and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
  • Regular support
Our adult social groups meet regularly and need committed volunteers to support our trained staff. Read more about the club here.
  • Become a trustee
Our trustees are professional people who have a great understanding of autism or business knowledge, or perhaps both. They meet regularly to help guide and advise our charity and they play an important role in ensuring good governance.
