Case Studies
"The team at Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa have been delighted to help support the work of Autism Jersey by providing hotel experiences for families as we emerged from lockdown with family swimming sessions and also movie screenings in our cinema. We have also hosted regular coffee morning allowing families to socialise and discuss shared experiences as well as adding a voluntary donation of £1.00 to all our guest bills to support the charity's fundraising." Robert Touzel, Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa.
"Our support of Jersey Autism came through the passion that Ally Bisson had for the charity as she approached the business to consider the sponsorship. It's been fantastic to be able to provide support to activities and causes that our employees are passionate about, especially when they benefit our local communities and those who need it most. Throughout our sponsorship of both treks Autism Jersey have been a pleasure to work alongside and judging by the feedback from our two employees that made the trip to Machu Picchu, the trip was very well organised and they both had amazing experiences." Rachel Godel, Ocorian.
"We recently sponsored Karen Gallichan’s channel swim in aid of Autism Jersey. Karen was raising money for a bursary for young people with Autism and decided to swim the channel. Karen has a son with Autism so knows first-hand how hard it is as a parent and a carer and we wanted to support her amazing challenge. Karen came in and spoke to our staff about the reasons why she was doing the challenge and what motivated her to keep going – she is a true inspiration to so many and a delight to work with." Susan Clark, Santander International
"The staff at Rathbones have always been keen to support Autism Jersey. This year and for the fourth year in a row, Rathbones have sponsored and helped to organise the ‘L’Etacq and Back’ Walk, a fantastic family-friendly morning out that took runners, walkers and their dogs across St Ouen’s beach from Le Braye to L’Etacq, and back. The 2019 event raised a record amount of almost £4,000." Matthew Sutton, Rathbone Investment Management International
"Romerils feels privileged to have partnered Autism Jersey in varying ways over many years, more recently with the Annual Duck Race; great to be supporting such a professional organisation that itself supports so many with need in Jersey!" Mark Syvret, Romerils.
