This Privacy Notice applies to all personal data collected by Autism Jersey.

when complaints or enquiries are submitted
as part of the notification process by organisations
when emails are sent to either the ajadmin@autismjersey.org email address or staff member’s email addresses
in some cases as a result of enquiries made by phone or in person
How we use your information
Collected via a complaint: This information is processed for the purpose of responding to, or investigating your complaint. It is likely that some of this personal information will be provided to whoever the complaint is about. Should there be information you do not wish to be passed on, please let us know.
We do compile statistics relating to the number and nature of complaints received but not in a form that would identify any individual.
Collected as part of the notification process: Many businesses and organisations are required by law to notify the Data Protection Commissioner of the processing they carry out. Notification information is compiled into a public register, as is required by law.
Collected by email: Information supplied by email may be recorded in the customer relationship management system.
Collected as a result of enquiries made by phone or in person: Information may be recorded in the customer relationship management system.
Disclosure of personal information
We will not usually share your personal information with other parties without your consent, except where we are required to by law or in connection with a criminal investigation. In the absence of any previous consent provided by you, we will contact you should we consider disclosure to a third party is necessary for us to fully investigate your complaint or enquiry.

You are able to find out what information we hold about you by making a subject access request under the relevant Data Protection Law. To do so, please make the request in writing to the address on the main page of this website.
